 MY MORNING JACKET
 My Morning Jacket's "Z" is a solid album from the Louisville, Ky., fivesome. It's not necessarily flashy or action packed, but is an ideal album for those among us who like guitar riffs, mellow sounds and inspired songwriting. A distinct feature of this band is the way they can make each of their songs sound different -- so you don't feel as though you're listening to the same track on repeat for nearly 50 minutes. If you're a fan of the classic American styles embodied in artists like the Velvet Underground or Bob Dylan, you'll like this band.
