I would like to hear them do a track with Andre 3000 or work with RIck Rubin...

I'd like to see a collaboration with Buckethead.

not really, but Buckethead is frickin amazing.

Maybe Jimmy Page, or Iron and Wine, or the Flaming Lips, or Pink Floyd. I think these guys with Pink Floyd would be stellar.

Hell, I just wanna hear em cover "Echoes". Then all that is musical in my life would be complete.
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

i think pharrell williams of the neptunes would engineer some crazy-ass backbeats for the boys to work off of. there is some serious funk-soul power in the boys that isn't fully tapped yet.
everything sucks. really.

Meddle

echoes is my all time favorite song... gilmour's guitar work on that is amazing
...And Some Are Angels...

He made it to the ocean, had a smoke in a tree.
The wind rose up set him down on his knee.
A wave came crashing like a fist to the jaw.
Deliver him wings,

I remember that thread & said the same thing then - a dub reggae album produced by Lee "Scratch" Perry.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Kathleen Edwards was so excellent when i saw her with them, and she added such an excellent element to "GOlden," i think she should do something more with the band
Other than that, Jeff Tweedy (wish he'd come out for a golden on the june tour...)

Speaking of Peaches, what about the Presidents of the U.S.?  Jim singing "Lump" would be outrageous.

heyjonah

i agree that a pearl jam collaboration would be pretty cool.  they've been among my top three bands for years.  MMj, only about two years.  8)
since i see pearl jam unfortunately getting a little stale, i think jim could revitalize ed a bit.  that is, help him focus on the sound of his music rather than the sound of his voice talking (though i agree with much of what he says).
and on the flip side....imagine those two f-ing voices singin together!!! whew
there is, or was, and probably still is, a huuuuuuuge thread dedicated to MMJ on theskyiscrape.com's (pearl jam fan site)  "other bands" forum.  it's pretty much all positive.  i was psyched on it.

I would like to see MMJ work with The Flaming Lips or Radiohead. MMJ, TFL, and RadioH are, in my opinion, the 3 most creative artistic bands in the world today.  If they were to work with an older band I would want it to be Pink FLoyd....or the Beatles. And finally, if they were to do rap, I think Conyaye W. should produce it...and Common should rap with Jim.

Peace out.

Tred7882

I would like to see them work with U2's The Edge and the producer they worked with for a little while, Flood.  MMJ could learn tons from those guys and probably make an unbelievable record.

andre 3000 (just listen to "Prototype" !!!!!!!)
