96 dollars...:-[

Yikes! Maybe I shouldn't have but when I finally get to hear that warm vinyl sound pouring through my house, I'll remember why I'm working a little extra this weekend...

You may now discuss how stupid I am for spending that much...

and if anyone had the Tennessee fire on vinyl, go ahead and put it on ebay and see how much I'll pay, haha!

Haha, not at all Kory!
Just proves that you're a dedicated fan who loves the Jacket & takes his music very seriously.

Wait...$96?!! You're kidding, right?!!  :o  ;)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

It's a GREAT investment, and one you will never regret.

what was the most you would have paid?

I was drawing the line at $120, but who knows really.
The sad thing is, one went for $58 around a month ago. I think it was without the demo cd though...
After a nights sleep, I don't really think it's all that bad.

i paid like $65 for Tennesse Fire...At Dawn is the only one i don't have!  i would have paid $96 for it too (if i had the money!!!)
If you're lucky, MMJ will fill the void you didn't even know you ever had. If you're luckier, you'll get to see them live.

Is it that rare? I completely forgot my Japanese friend has a copy!
Funny story, a good friend of mine has an amazing LP & CD collection & a sound system to die for. I used to take my CDs over there sometimes & we would play each other stuff we like.
Anyway, I took At Dawn over there a few years ago (before ISM was released) & played him a few tracks telling him that this was my new fav band.
When I showed him the CD he said he'd never heard of them but after hearing a couple of tracks he lept up & pulled out TTF. Turns out it had been recommended to him by a guy in an indie record store (here in Japan). He said he had only played it a few times, it hadn't grabbed him & he'd forgotten all about it.
He said he liked the tracks I played him but we haven't talked about the Jacket since. Haven't seen him in a while, wonder if it grew on him?
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

at dawn's the only vinyl i'm missing as well, but i don't think i could shell out 96 bucks for it.  I ordered it from some overseas store for around 50 bucks and it never showed.  50s probably my breaking point.

Kory

Yea, I think TTF is going to be a little bit harder to get. I've got in on order with a couple overseas sites for a few weeks now, I'll wait it out. I've got an AD on order as well and if I get it, that will go on ebay to recoup the costs I spent coming in the mail as I type.
I feel silly for going that high but there are tons of records that go for a lot of money because of low pressings and demand and this just happens to be one of them for me.

You can't pay too much for these things.  Trust me, I have so you don't have to.

And don't get me started on Wildheart bootlegs....

Kory

Yea, it came yesterday and I now realize I would have paid so much more, it's great to actually have the record. The wife and I had plans last night so I didn't even get to spin it but it's on tonight... then Jacket in person tomorrow!!! Whooo Hoo!

It's only money!  If it's something you enjoy, then the amount shouldn't make a difference.  I just paid $27 for the Acoustic Chorale DVD, and an Okonokos promo poster.  I really need to start watching my spending, but since this was a BUY IT NOW offer on Ebay, I couldn't resist! I now have this nice item, and the concert in January to look forward to!   ;D

Yea, I gotta watch myself too, the other day "the goldhole" vinyl came up on ebay and I got it too, 25 bucks isn't bad for something olny pressed 500 times.
But, it is only money and if it wasn't one thing it'd be another...
enjoy your dvd as well as your upcoming show!
