Hi, I know someone has mentioned this previously, but I saw the film "Winter Passing" a while back and can't seem to get the alternative version of OSB out of my mind. and I don't want to have to buy the soundtrack!!

does anyone have it? wanna help a sister out?

thanks and love

I never heard of this movie, anybody know anything about that? I don't know if its the right version but i love the one on Ch. 1. Look into the album Ch. 1 The Sandworm Cometh.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

I remember seeing a trailer for this a while back.

Soundtrack listing says Old Sept Blue, not Blues...I guess that's just a mistake?

That one is live though. I mean, it still could be the same one, but that would be odd.
Some girls mothers are bigger than others girls mothers...

Coltrane

it's not the "Sandworm" version. the clip on AllMusic sounds like Jim solo.
....as mayor of Drugachusettes, I declare this pizza to be...AWESOME!!!

Nikkogino

i hate it when ITUNES won't let you buy one song off of a soundtrack.

Album Only, sorry... >:(

ManNamedTruth

I think i may have misled wholovesthesun. Its a good version of the song anyway.

I've seen the movie, but it's been a while.  I think it's version #3.  I'd have to listen again to be sure.

BH

I hope it's #3!  That's the only one I havn't been able to find.  And I mean the ONLY one out of all studio stuff on record.  It would complete my collection as far as I know.  Do you have this one Dylan?

Okay, bad news and good news on the "finding #3 front".  Turns out, I don't currently have that one, but I believe that I know where I can find it.  In fact, it might pop up in the Magnix project one of these days.  Unless he'd have to delete that track since it's been released.

Thanks man.  PLEASE keep me up to date on that front!

Here's what I came up with...

#1 [The Tennessee Fire]                      Running Time = 2:28
#2 [Heartbreakin' Man EP/Chapter 1]    Running Time = 5:42
#3 [2 meter sessions]                          Running Time = 5:24 (proof below)
#4 [Run Thru CD Single]                      Running Time = 3:15
#5 [Winter Passing Sndtrk]                   Running Time = 3:17

unfortunately I don't have the 2 meter disc so I don't really know if it's the same as the Run Thru but the track times are the same. I don't have the Run Thru disc with me but I think it has liner notes saying when it was recorded. Can anyone check?
