His heart is the size of Alaska.

I would put him around 5'10". :)

Godfather

tomEisenbraun

yeah, he's not a huge dude, probably 5'9" or 5'10" like Meg said. And yes, his heart is the size of Alaska. Medical fact there, folks.
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

ycartrob

ummmmm, I'd say Texas (a much warmer state).  [smiley=cowboy.gif]

tomEisenbraun

or just the entirety of Canada.

wwwweeeellllll, I still say Texas; gotta go with a very big, warm heart over a gigantic, cold heart... :-/

tomEisenbraun

Very bad state choice on my part.  I wasn't thinking of the climate.

beast

more like rhode island, i think...

tomEisenbraun

maybe Rhode Island, but only in stature. We're talking bout the size of the man's heart, here.

its very hard to trust the words of a guest, anyway.   :-/

"Ancient people thought that the heart controlled a person's emotions, but it is really just a muscle that pumps blood throughout the body. The size of the heart is about the size of a person's fist. In an average man, the heart weights about 340 grams or 12 ounces, it is a little less in women..."

Ahhhhhh. Where's your sense of romance Mr. beast?  (Or Ms. beast, if you're a girl.)

Also, we are not speaking of any average man.  We are speaking about a man that some have referred to as a superhero of sorts.  And if the average heart is the size of a person's fist, it might well follow that an extraordinary man's heart might in fact, metaphorically speaking, be comparable to the size of a state.  Any state.  You could even say Prince Edward Island (which is not a State, but a small province in Canada), and we would still be talking about something much, much bigger than the average man's heart.

But metaphorically, if we're talking about heart as though it were an indication of one's tremendous capacity to be good, Tom's is big.  Very big.

uhh...  well i am sure tommy will be happy to know you have a sense of romance regarding his heart...

i will rescind my rhode island statement.  perhaps delaware instead.

Sneaky word-twister...

I'm going to leave the State assignment to you Americans.  I don't even know where Delaware is.

tomEisenbraun

Haha, neither do I?

(But it's not so large, either)

How bout Montana and it's settled?

sneaky word twister?  that sounds like a good board game.

i notice no denial, though...  hmm...

delaware is the 49th largest state.  it is also the first state, ratifying the constitution in 1787.  it is in the northeast between maryland and new jersey.

Yes.  A good game for the agile and the erudite.  And private investigators.
