new/houston/austin?

hello, im new to the board but not to the band. first off it looks like im in the right place seeing that one of the first messages i opened were raves about ryan adams and iron and wine. i live in houston and am a little bummed about the cancelation but i was wondering if anyone in austin knew of any cheap motels and/or places for me to crash so i could possibly make the haul up there.

austin motel is one of my fave places. i haven't stayed in hotels in austin much, since i live here, but i must say it's a nice one. right on south congress, fun location, heart of austin fun. good luck!
