Bigsky

I've might of asked this in another thread, but does anyone know why it's called Steam Engine. I have my own reasons...the way it builds up and rolls me over...like a steam engine. I'm sure there is some thought behind it and I was wondering if any of you know?

That's kinda what I was thinking, too, Bigsky.  the way the rhythm kinda chugs along.  The first time it appeared on a setlist it was called "Engine Steam", not that that's here or there.

QuoteI have been a long time follower and i dont post frequently.. However i feel like i should share this with you guys... So i was listening to Steam Engine today while going through a car wash and it was towards the ending of the song (basically the last verse) I decided to turn it up as loud as i could stand it and the feeling that came over me was better than any drug you could ever do almost as good as sex :) It was like time stopped. I felt like the music controlled everything including myself.  Words really cant describe that feeling. FYI i was sober and heading to work... Anyways hope to meet some of you guys at Merriweather..

I had a similar experience riding the train home from work one day. It was pretty fucking unreal!!!
That song has been the source of many chills up and down my spine since the first time I lost my mind to it at Bonnaroo '04 in the thunderdome. That shit was CRAZY :D
