Okonokos movie in itunes

I'm not sure, but I believe you have the right to make an digital copy (backup) if you own the DVD.  I may be wrong about this.  I have a 1.4 GB video file of Okonokos that I put on a portable media player.  I can't remember how I got it.  

I also have software that will let me rip a commercial DVD as an AVI or MPEG file.  I haven't used it yet, and it wasn't free (DVD Cloner 7 $40).  However, as long as you're not selling or sharing copies, I think you're okay.  

There may be less expensive or free software that does the same thing.  I figured $40 was a good deal for having the capacity to burn/rip DVDs for personal use.  I have not yet, to my knowledge, used the software illegally.

I've only used it on a Mac but it's slick.

There were a few that were there, don't know how much they post anymore. The dude with the Z on his face and the chick that's totally feeling dondante posted here quite a bit at the time.
