QuoteYup just got mine today also. A nice surprise. First class job with the packaging. Johnny, it's not # 1. Mine says "This is 1 of an edition of 250". I thought I got the first one also.

Just a side, if you don't have this and there are still some left, do yourself a BIG favor and order it!
I can't wait to get mine. I ordered it the day it was put up on the site too though I imagine it may take a while to get here.

Definitely a nice treat to find this in my mailbox today.  I completely agree with everyone that the packaging was very well done.  I'm rocking my smextra smedium tshirt right now.  This form fitting shirt is not flattering on my man breasts. :-/ ;D.

It's one of those I wanna play the record but I hate messing with signed stuff deals.

Definitely, Seth.  Its a nice package (and I don't even own a turntable, to my wife's frustration).  I wanted the Carl sig.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

That's it!  I didn't see the video, just the audio thanks!

I'm falling in love with this album.  In The Garden is my new favorite.

Thanks for the link to the interview. I enjoyed that, Carl is really soft spoken. Enjoying the record very much as well. Way to go Carl.

Anyone else familiar with Marc Mulcahy or whatever his last name is from Polaris?

I love the guitar tone they both have, the warmth really surrounds you

to my astonishment my vinyl came today!! it only took three days to get here from the time i ordered it. i definitely know why he mentioned the vinyl in the lightning 100 interview yesterday. it sounds great!! the shirt is awesome too and mine fits great!!  i debated for a while about leaving it alone and not playing it but i eventually caved...it was a good decision

Do you think he'll play the whole album? Will he be with a full band? I can't wait to hear this live too. I love the vinyl edition. Got my on the 28th. Sounds amazing.

I sure hope he will! No clue about the rest of the fellas...but one can dream :)

Would love to hear the vinyl, but settled for electronic.  We have 2 turntables in the basement but sadly alone and untouched they sit :)  some day when I get thru all of the other projects in my house!

I just realized that I got 2 CDs with the deluxe package, the packaged cd and one with the vinyl.

Quoteit's a pretty enjoyable listen. the music is really good, some of the lyrics however are kinda goofy, borderline embarassing. had trouble finishing the different people song (forget the title) because of how annoying the chorus and lyrics were...but overall it's pretty good. i love the song "carried away" which i had the privelage of hearing live at merriweather in the spring.

I listened to the album in the car with my wife, and about halfway through she said "is this a children's album?" which made me wince.

I've gave this album two hard listens today and I chuckled remembering you writing something before about it, quoted above.  Isn't that great? ;D  You can dig it and play it for the kiddies.  The album has grown on me a bunch.  There is such a purity and naivete about it that I think/hope will translate well in the intimate setting that will be Joe's.

my (7 yo) daughter was listening to it with me while she was crafting friendship bracelets on sunday...and seemed to be humming along at certain points.  all "wince"ing aside...i loved that!
