It shall hence forth for all time be referred to as the Simpson's Sushi Jam!  It was Atl. 04 at the Roxy when Jim turned the end of "I will sing you songs" into a psychedelic seizure experiment.  I will forever be greatful to the taper of that show, who has enabled that moment to live on and on, in all it's glory, for ever and ever.  Amen!!!

Johnny climbing a stack of amps at the waterfront in louisville.

peanut butter puddin surprise

far too many to mention, far too many I forget!

1.  AC/DC's "Touch too Much" with Tommy on vocals...with Johnny in the crowd rockin' guitar while I air guitar with him, back to back!

2.  The Headliner's show that was a radio thingy, with people SITTING by the stage in chairs, expecting a Jim solo show...imagine if you will the looks on their faces when "It's About Twilight Now" kicks into full tornado force and kicks their asses!  Imagine the chairs flying in all directions!  Imagine the hair flying about!  MUWHAHAHAHA!

3.  Taking my son to the Pittsburgh show opening for Foo Fighters, and pogo-ing wildly while he looks at us with shame as we make middle aged fools of ourselves.  Hehehehehe.

4.  "the bear" story:  they wanted to bring the actual bear from the ISM cover to the Louisville 2 night stand last year...apparently, it had been remodeled, so they had some brave soul dance in the crowd in a bear costume.  I hope whoever that brave soul was doesn't mind that he/she was fondled and groped by countless drunkards as he/she surfed the crowd....priceless.

Go there and e-mail one of those people... unless someone here  has it. I don't have it, or I would offer it to ya. The people from the list above apparently think it's a good recording.

At the Leeuwarden 2000 show Jim segues the end of 'Easy' into some lines from The Stones 'No Expectations'. But what a few lines, absolutely amazing. Anyone else here already heard that?

marktwain

YES!  excellent show.  i LOVE that version of 'i will be there when you die'

BTW, have you heard the Beck/Beth Orton version of No Expectations?  unbelievable.

Chills

No, has it been officially released somewhere?
