i just got off the phone with someone from Grimey's, and he told me that it was a 50/50 chance that they could get Jim in there for the acoustic performance. He said something close to this.

"Yeh man, I know Jim personally, he's come in here and hung out before but i don't know if he'll play, MMJ is already a pretty big name and don't really need to play. Most of the bands that come in here are smaller bands still trying to make new fans."

This is where I curl up in the fetal position and wisdh life didn't have to change. But oh well, I've got some Beck on ("Where It's At!") and life moves and changes because change handled right is growth and without growth we'd all be a bunch of immature idiots. So I'm happy, for the most part, and I guess it's just a new step in the course of my next seventy or so years. Who knows, God could yoink me outta here a lot earlier, I'm just grateful for the time He's given me so far.

I just wish change and moving didn't mean the possibility that my relationship with my lovely Katie may have to see an end. But, the way I see it, the distance from Nashville to Chicago presents a very excellent opportunity to grow with eachother in a way we haven't had the chance to grow before, so it's a good thing through and through.

So there ya go, I don't know how we got from spaghetti to existential mysteries, but it has been done. Anyways, that's the beginning of college for me right there, so you're inside my head. Anybody has anything nice to add or comment on, please let 'er rip.

i live in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  About 45 minutes north of Nashville. But the drive is no big deal, i drive to Nashville often. BG is a fairly large town, every Corvette in the world is made here.
