At the ATL show earlier this year, JIm mentioned something about "crack" from the stage.
At Nashville, Sweatboard and his wife, Ycartrobz and his wife and I all met up before the show. Ycartrobz's wife made a sign that said "crunk unit" (which is another board joke) to hold up at the show. She also decided to add "free crack" on the other side of the sign because of his comment from the previous show.
When we got to the show, we met up with Eisey and Specialist. We took turns holding the sign up during random times in the show. At one point, Jim was on the front of the stage telling us that we had made a bold decision (or something like that) to be at the show. Eisey is about 10 feet tall and was only about 6-7 feet from the front of the stage and was holding up the sign that said "free crack", so jim added " a bold decision.... for free crack!".
During the encore break, Slayer (Brucie) came out and asked Eisey for the sign. He then taped it to one of the road cases and it has been on tour with them ever since.

whothrewthecake

already a fan legend.....

ycartrob

actually, the FREE CRACK part was inspired at the Knoxville show, the night before the Nashville show.

We told Olwiggum that, but he's so hyped up in the BAMA CRUNK, that every other word he utters is ATL, ATL, ATL... where he hopes his boys will be headed on December 3rd.

Got back-to-back killers coming up Corey; good luck against those Tigers and Tigers (or War Eagles, or Midplainsmen, or whatever).

sweatboard

I really hope vandy beat Tennessee this year and is able to go to a bowl game.
There's Still Time.........

primushead

Notre Dame beat 'em.  That's for sure :D

corey

Damn. I knew it was ATL or Knox, couldn't remember which.

Roll Tide  :)

sweatboard

Unless they figure out how to score on offense they aren't going to roll much farther.
There's Still Time.........

Yeah, it's been tough the last few games. I knew that not having Prothro would affect us, but not this bad.

Thank god for our defense and special teams.

i believe jim was so goddamn tired of seeing that imature sign thrown up infront of his face that he simply decided to put it on their case so he wouldn't be distracted anymore.

corey

That must be it. Maybe that's why it's been on stage with them at shows after that as well.

ycartrob

realdeal, don't hate b/c you don't get it .  :'(

however, if you're right, then the next show I am bringing a big ol' immature poster of myself, wearing an ewok outfit, and I'll have a mustache drawn over my lip, with a crayon! and I am going to hold it up til Jim gets so goddamn tired of it that he'll tape it to his case and there I'll be....

On stage with The Jacket...and the rest of you will be soooooooo jealous and I'll just smile and stuff, probably won't even take off my shirt and helicopter it over my head.

Oh boy! This is gonna be great! I have to get busy...
