Other than the OC/Laguna Beach crowd that didn't know how to deal with the band, the show was great. Great venue to see the band. No peanut butter sandwiches though.

Here's the setlist.

Steam Engine?   Where was Steam Engine for the Seattle show?  Damn you San Diegans. What did you deserve to get that?  You already have nice weather year-round and wall to wall babes wherever you look, and now you get Steam Engine.

This was my 4th show and I have to say by far the BEST version of Mageetah I've ever heard anywhere......the only dissappointment was that last time they were in town they promised always PB & J sandwiches.....but not this time....only a mention of it........Great show none the less

That's pretty funny PJB.  I was part of the discussion the other night about how we would have loved to see a little more of the older stuff at the shows we went to...........and then the San Diego show happens.  Steam Engine, Lowdown, Strangulation, The Bear ????   Too funny !!

October

wonder if they read the forums frequently

It was! It was absolutely incredible. One of the top 5 shows I have ever seen in my lifetime.

I'm a native San Diegan, and I hear y'all about the OC/Laguna Beach chatty crappy crowd. Me and my pals complain about this all the time. What's the deal? Why do people insist on talking when there's a band, and a terrific one at that, playing! Live! For US! I mean, Jim was doing a solo and you could audibly hear the talking above his singing! It was so rude. I wanted to effing strangle some of those ppl.

Me and my buds were totally rocking out, I don't give a shit about what anyone *thinks* about me. I felt MMJ coming through San Diego was a no-miss show, and I feel quite blessed to have been able to attend the show and listen to their fine musicianship and acoustics.

It was incredible! I practically felt emotional during many of the songs. So tight. Such great music. Such an appreciative fan.

Thank you for posting the set list. I'm a newbie fan and I'm not familiar with a lot of the songs before "Z".
