You're going from Ohio?!  Holy cow!!  (I don't actually know how far that is.  Toronto to Louisville is about 12 hours or so if I remember correctly.)  Are you flying?

Megan, Check Your PM's and good luck tomorrow night.  I hope someone is recording your set.

i got mine from the presale, and no ive not gotten them.  i think they have to send them at least a week before the show. they usually come a bit earlier than that though.  id say expect them about the 2nd week of november??

I'm making the trek all the way from the Highlands. It's at least 5 miles or so to the Palace from my house. I better give myself plenty of time to get there  ;D

My claim to fame: the lead singer and the keyboardist from VHS or BETA both live in my old house which is owned by a friend of mine. Maybe I'll give them a ride to the show.

To you Louisville folks, this means absolutely nothing because in addition to the MMJ guys, you can see the VHS or Beta guys all over town all the time too. But for you out of towners that don't get to bump into Jim at the record store on a regular basis, you can be impressed now.

Yeah, I will be making the trek all the way from Hikes Point, KY--which should take about 10 minutes to reach the Palace.

Hey, this is going to be a monumental show.  We've all seen VHS and the Jacket for years now...often playing on the same bill several years back.  But now at the Palace--and the last night of the tour.  You got to think they are going to break out a bag of tricks for this gig.

You all should consider getting tickets for this--I think there are still a few left.

You know my wife and I are in! In my mind I'm already there. It's going to be so cool.

tdan

My wife and I will be there.  Anyone interested in a Pre-show meet up?  I have spoken to the manager of the BBC up the block from the Palace who is up for hosting us.  He has said that he personally has various MMJ and VHS or Beta CDs that he would pop in their system to get us all jacked up prior to the show.

For those of you out-of-towners, BBC is the Bluegrass Brewing Company.  As it stands on Wednesdays they have various drink specials.

Happy hour from 3-7 pm
$1 off 20-oz. drafts,
$1 off appetizers,
$1 off well drinks,

$1 off house wines,
Warthog members get their warthogs mugs filled for $3.

All he asked for is an approximate head count.  If this sounds like something that would be of any interest let me know and I will set it up.  I figure as long as I can give him a number a week or two ahead of time, they should be able to accomodate us. [smiley=bier.gif]

My best friend's uncle owns BBC. He's a good guy and has good beer. And it's good to support the locals...

I totally agree.  Regardless of whether anyone else wants to meet up, my wife and I will be there.  It is the perfect place to get ready for a show at the Palace (within stumbling distance ;) ).

Good idear tdan.  Sounds like a good time--I will definitely try to stop by.  We should have a pretty decent sized crew with us--the more the merrier.  Let us know if you need an official head count.  Thanks.

tdan

I will probably hold off until a week or so before the show then either start a new thread or revive this one asking for a count.  I hope you are able to stop by.  Good food, good beer, good music, good times.
