Does anyone happen to know the name of the song (or performing band) that My Morning Jacket fed through the speakers before hitting stage during the 2005 tour?

Its sort of a blues/jazz instrumental, appx. 2-3 minutes long. It's really classy sounding, and added alot of flavor to the guys' intro.

sounds like "in a sentimental mood" to me.

You're right! I just streamed "In a Sentimental Mood", and it sounds pretty much spot-on... Now I just have to figure out who performed this particular version.

it might be duke ellington, really old school style. just a guess, since the recording seems scratchy and old. maybe some early sessions.  :)
