i can't help with the problems on getting the thing to stream, BUT...if anyone knows a good way to record it I am getting a *perfect* connection from it.

Neither of my streaming video recording programs will work!! well, one is new, I downloaded it just a little while ago for this purpose, but I can't get it to work.  It's called VLC (??).

If anyone knows a good method to record streaming video I'll be happy to do it as I'm getting a superb connection.
Sorry I can't help otherwise!  Maybe open the url in windows media player or RealPlayer?

(I get the stream from the website fine,but I also just opened that exact URL in Real Player and it worked).

it tells me "no client id" when I try to open it in Realplayer what do I need to do now?

umm...I'm not sure! this stuff is really beyond my knowledge.

Client ID -well if you look at the URL the end of it says client id=5405.  DId you make sure you copied all of the url?  
do you have Real Player 10? that's what I used to test it.
or maybe just try pasting the url as a web address into your browser. although that will probably result in the same problems as clicking the link from the main blue att page.
