Yes, the announcement put a damper on the day. I was looking forward to hearing Jim solo again.

yeah, this totally blows! The link on the main page just takes you to a webpage where you can buy tickets for the show that isn't happening.  I'm sure I'll get my money back but I would have rather seen Jim.   :'(

i understand that "shit" happens sometimes...i was just curious what happened.

and please...drop the "dick" attitude...i love the jacket more than anything and i am not upset nor mad that this happened.  just very disappointed because i was looking forward to seeing a solo Jim show...hoping to hear him do Steam Engine, maybe Tyrone, and many other classics.

i didn't think they owed me an explanation...but if you pay $21 for a show...i was just curious as to what else is going on...is there an added date they are playing as a band? or is something else going on?  

if you paid $21 to see Jim play and it was cancelled you wouldn't be curious as to why it was cancelled?  that is all...just curious.  sorry again....you aren't a "dick"...you couldn't be...you are a Jacket fan!  anyway...hope you feel better!

Actually it's sarcasm rather than a defense mechanism (for me). Life will go on if the Jacket cancels. Hell, life will go on if they never played another show.
