Damn!  I am really starting to absorb the whole Bonnaroo show and this stretch of covers is unfrigginbelievable!  I have listened to this threesome about 8 times now and it's still getting better.  What a treat!  Especially A Quick One.  Who knew Carl had that voice inside?  Can't wait to hear more of that!  This has to be a concert first.  3 songs all 1st time played all in a row.  Discuss.....
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I'm also really digging that second Disc, especially for the Dondante and trio of covers... and I agree, Carl has really come through with vocals. Very happy to hear him sing along, he really adds alot to the show.

 :D

Older Guys->Head Held High has been on repeat in my car since I burnt the discs.

To have two great sources for this show is quite a treat.

I have the show that Ed did.  Where is the other one?  Is one slightly better than the other one?

Nice response to the challenge!  That is great.  I've always wanted to hear rollin' back live.  Is that available or streamed anywhere?  Never heard of the "I can't wait anymore" either.

I nearly messed myself when they came back from the break and and the silence was broken with...

 "Her man's been gone..."

I've always loved the Who. Have seen few bands do them well. Pearl Jam usally makes a good go at Baba O', Leaving Here, and The Kids are Alright. But, I've never heard anyone cover A Quick One before, and these guys really nailed it that night!

sooo good!

Here on the Shows board, people will post links to Torrents/ZIP and other archive-type websites, where they or someone else has uploaded particular audio or even video of a performance.

I'm not an expect on Torrents by any means, but I can direct you to the My Morning Jacket page on Archive.org, where you'll find a slew of performances avaliable in MP3 format.

I've downloaded both shows and I think the lynnzzz show is the better one as the one by speshuled has close to the mic loud clapping at times (one i really notice about 2/3rds of the way through dondante)and the lynnzzz recording seems cleaner.  If you like Radiohead, check out the recording by speshuled at Bonnaroo.  It's wonderful.

Unless there was an error during my download, those individual MP3's are only about 10 second samples... Could someone go ahead and confirm that?

I am fairly sure that I asked the inimitable Two Tone about that and he said something like "oddly enough that song is called I Can't Wait" - it's a Jim song, I am almost positive.  I have been away for awhile from here and I just checked on this thread and I can't believe some of these covers, either!
I do know that the Austin-based rock band Grand Champeen done a mean version of A Quick One (While He's Away).  I saw 'em do it in March of '05 at SXSW in Austin.   Jealous of all you concert-goers!
