fillmore New years blowout!!!!

I just got my Rolling Stone mag today and It states Jim as saying MMJ is to play 3 december shows at the fillmore leading up to a New Years Eve blowout.    

Tix for 2 for 3 shows and hotel   about  $500

3 MMJ shows at the fillmore --   Priceless

On the topic of the latest Rolling Stone article: When the article is talking about the Okonokos Concert Film it quotes Jim as saying ' "I can't tell you where we shot it" says the secretive singer........'? Is there going to be some surprise as to where it was shot? I didnt think it was a seceret.  It is the same place as Okonokos was recorded.........right? Maybe Jim was misquoted or maybe I just am not understanding what they mean.

I believe he may be referring to  footage that they will splice in are add to the concert footage.  The movie is more than just a film of the concert.  Think "the song remains the same" from zepplin.  I'm pretty sure they shot some footage in kentucky and probably some other mystical locations to go with the "fucked up forest" theme

These will be the hottest tickets in the Bay Area. God, if you're listening, please let me score at least a pair for two of the three nights.

You know what's great about this band for me right now? I feel like I'm a part of the rise of a true generational benchmark. I love watching this thing, this undefinable thing, develop.

in reference to the whole...secret location deal......just look at the inside of the okonokos cd. the one with the band dressed up old style,  in black and white. that should give you an idea of where some of the extra DVD footage waswas filmed.  its in KY.
