Found this of WFPK's site here in Louisville... Did anyone know about it? I gave my MMJ presale number in hopes of getting a limited edition dvd... I hope that's good enough.

My Morning Jacket's Thanksgiving Eve Concert!

WFPK members can buy tickets to the 2nd Annual My Morning Jacket Thanksgiving Eve Concert at The Louisville Gardens before anyone else beginning on Tuesday, October 3rd. On October 2nd members will receive an MMJ presale e-mail with a password. Beginning at 10am on Tuesday, October 3rd, the 1st 50 members that e-mail WFPK their TicketMaster confirmation numbers will win a copy of the limited edition MMJ DVD EP 'Acoustic Chorale', courtesy of ear X-tacy. Please include your name, address, Ticketmaster confirmation number and your phone number in your entry. Incomplete entries will be deleted. Read our contest rules.

Maybe that one has "The Bear" on it......? Maybe a short collection of the softer songs that night? It's possible I suppose.

Or maybe it's just wishful thinking?

wow this little dvd sounds like a gem.  i really hope to get my hands on it and hopefully someone has more details about it and can post!!

I think you had to buy the tix through the radio station presale but I sent in my info and I really hope I can get this dvd. If it's limited and goes out of print does that mean I can share copies of it? I hope someone else would do the same...

I got an email about a half hour ago saying I won a copy.
I left work and went and picked it up, my computer at work won't play it but here's what's on it.
1.Bermuda Highway
2. At Dawn
3. Sooner
4. Where to Begin
5. I Think I'm Going to Hell
6. Strangulation

I'll post scans later, it's titled
"My Morning Jacket"
"Acoustic Chorale"
bonus mini-acoustic concert dvd
5.1 surround sound mix.
The text is OKONOKOS style wit the leemurs and such.
No dates are given. It could very well be from the OKONOKOS dvd coming out but I'm hoping it's different footage as it'd be best to get as much stuff out as possible.

If this is a limited edition pressing, can I share it?
I'll update later when I can watch it.

Good thing I don't have any compulsive need to own all of the official releases on top of the limited stuff... I'd be screwed.

Regarding sharing - As far as I'm concerned, sharing is acceptable under the circumstances that not just anyone can order this from Amazon.com or something. This is a Limited release, and will probably be out of print after about 50 copies... so, yeah, this would fall under the share-worthy category for me.

I could have sworn that my local indie store, Gallery of Sound was a part of that. But on that site there are none even in PA. I want this. :(

I'm pretty sure I detected a wink, there... Awesome. Looks like the closest CIMS store is either going to be Athens or Knoxville.
