OK looks like I am going to have to send someone the money to buy and mail to me.

Wouldn't it be nice if this were available in states where there are no CIM stores, or maybe as a bonus when you buy your Okonokos theater ticket... hint hint...

Make some available in Boston PLEASE!

when i bought the Okonokos CD at Ear X Tacy here in Louisville i did not receive a FREE DVD...what gives???

I had emailed earx-tacy and got no response before I found out I won it. I am trying to rip the audio at the moment. It's all recent stuff with the jungle stage setting. It is a very good dvd though. I'm sure earx-tacy has plans to give this out, they always give stuff like this out and with riny's hint, I'd think it's got to be true.
If not, I don't mind sharing but I get what you mean by being a completist...
I'll keep my ear to the ground and at least get you guys some mp3s...

Here's a scan. On a side note, anyone know how to get mp3s or even wav or aiff's from a dvd on a Mac and I'll get it done. I tried Audio Hijack but I don't think my computer is fast enough and it keeps skipping. I'm copying the dvd off to avi for now though, hopefully in the morning it'll be done and if I can get an ok from a mod, I'll sendspace it for you guys.

I just ran to my local CIMS (Easy St. in Seattle) and they didn't have any of these, either. Maybe it's too new? Maybe they'll give them out with the DVD?

I bought the cd there when it came out a couple weeks ago, so I'd hate to have to buy another to get this DVD. But will if that is what it takes....!!!

I just got a promo code from the MMJ store to pre-order the DVD and get $2 off.  And I'd love to buy directly from MMJ and cut out the middle man, but I'd also like to get the Acoustic Chorale DVD...

Do ya think the MMJ web store will be hooking us up if we pre-order from them?

I was just thinking the same thing.  I'm sure if you got the DVD with the preorder they would have mentioned it.  I think I'll buy mine from ear xtacy and play it safe.

If all of those songs are on a limited edition DVD, what is going to be on the special features for the actual OKONOKOS dvd? That would suck if there weren't any. :-/

i got the email this morning - it sounds to me like the acoustic chorale dvd is a separate thing, coming out after the o dvd....

anyone else going to do the preorder thing? i preordered the cds, but then found them in a record shop here the day after it arrived in the mail.... it was cool to get the free download of strangulation, but it probably ends up costing me more (with the eternally crappy AUS$ / US$ exchange rate).....

Yeah, but appenently all of the songs on it are from the OKONOKOS shows, so what will be left to put on the specail featurers. That DVD would be pointless if those songs were specail features on the actual DVD. Ya know?

i heard there will be quite a few extras to enjoy on the dvd, so either these are a nice preview of things to come, or they stand on their own and there is a bunch of other stuff to get excited about, too.
