Anyone know where I can find it?
Ever since watching Gideon on Letterman I've been wanting to get a hold of the recording
I'm sure the show must have been sick

I was there the first night (they played the same set both nights). It was phenomonal. MMJ has that ambient, flowing quality of their music anyway, but the Pops magnified that in a wicked cool way, it's kinda hard to describe. "They Way That He Sings," "Run Thru," and "Steam Engine" were awesome (but the whole set was really). The way the coordinated the lights on the Run Thru bridge was so cool. There was so much applause at the end of the show. People were going nuts. I think Keith Lockheart really enjoyed himself. The only two problems with the show was that it was only 1 hour and 15 minutes long and there was no OBH. Maybe OBH was too hard to right a symphonic score for, but I think it would have been interesting. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen.

I wouldn't expect OBH to have a sympohnic backing, that song just rocks to hard and is too good the way it is

But yeah, it sounded so sick...My friend has the tape of the Guster show, and it's really cool stuff...I nearly wet myself when I found out there was going to be an MMJ
lack of cash prevented any further action

but that tape must be somewhere.....
