This recent tour produced 39 songs.  6 of those songs were only played once.  Following are the snooty dates.  They think they are sooo cool.

11-10 Knoxville may have had a bad case of the Old September (Nov. 10th would apply, no?) Blues but they were Rollin' Back time to a long ago era when they actually played that song.

Oh and Dallas.  Phffff.   Oooo Texas, your soooo big.  Everythings big in Texas.  Look at you.   Well, your number of one time only songs was big too.  Hopefully, 11-16 Dallas didn't get too jealous that 11-17 Dallas, The Heartbreakin' Man, stole his Sweetheart.

But it's not about quantity, but quality. And when it came right down to the final stand,  Butch Cassidy, you could have been 11-20 St. Louis' freind.

Did you come up with that yourself? Nice job!
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

I feel blessed to have been at the 11-17 Dallas show.
I'm ready for it now!

I haven't been keeping up with these setlists, and I was completely amazed to hear Sweetheart in Dallas.   I had no idea that they'd played Rollin Back; I would guess that these are the only times they've ever played Sweetheart and Butch Cassidy live, at least since 10/25/01 (a date which shall live in infamy, at least in my own red-eyed mind).  According to an informal count in my head, If it Smashes Down and If All Else Fails are the only two songs from their first two LPs that they haven't played live since 10/25/01.   If you know that they've played those, and especially if you have 'em live, let me know.
Did either of the two Dallas shows ever show up?   According to a lister here, he or she had us covered.  I didn't take my stuff on Thursday but I have most of the Friday show (all of it, actually, but about three minutes there's a problem since only one channel was recording).    Long live MMJ!

Those show never surfaced George, they still may though. It's good to know you have a copy of Friday night though! :)

Louisville has no bragging rights.  Too bad.  I guess I didn't miss a whole lot this go round, except the smoke.  ;)

This cheesy post was initially intended to document the more rare songs so that eventually I could put together a set of all the songs played from the OKONOKOS tour when it finishes the west coast.  I will probably use the Philly show as a basis since it sounds so good from the FM broadcast and then fill in with the other shows as best I can.  If anyone has any opinion on the sound of any of those shows, be sure to post them in the taping section that Kory J put together.  Obviously, I am going to need Dallas to complete this thing.  Of course, they could still repeat those songs on the west coast.....
