these sets are looking awesome, especially with the old songs coming back

my one wish is that they start mixing up closers and spread anytime and mahgeetah out throughout the set

the bear or steam engine or OBH or any number of songs would make a great closer too

Does anybody know if the show was taped?

I didn't see anyone tapeing.  I was going to but as I was setting up my equipment I realized I was missing one of my chords.   Sorry  :'(

Yeah, I looked for tapers but didn't see any either.  This is the exact situation when I wish they would offer soundboard downloads.

The show was absolutely amazing.  My 9th time seeing the band and they just keep getting fucking better.  It was nice to talk to some of you.  I'll see you all in Nashville!

It was great seeing Tracy, L.a. Trey and Gregg I looked for you after the show but I couldn't find you I hope that wasn't you in the cop car.   ;)

Nah, didn't  quite make it to the cop car.  But definitely ended up peeing on the side of buffalo wild wings later that night.  The manager saw us and started to yell, so we bolted.

But that's a whole other story.

The show was AWESOME.  The lights/fog were ridiculous and the band was in top form.  I loved Jim talking about the SunSphere during his banter.  "Whatever way you vote, vote sunsphere".  Hah.

Brian pretty much summed up all my feelings about the set.  The theater was incredible, and I was probably the drunkest I've been in a good month.  It was excellent meeting Brian, Tracy and their ladies.  If I had the money I would drive to Atlanta tonight.  Oh well.

Rock! 8)

I saw that this morning, but without the blue sky and with lots of rain.

Speaking of which, how bout the weather last night?  lower 60's in november?  Hells yeah.

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I almost freaked out in the middle of  O IS THE ONE. Just almost freeakded out!

Got a kick out of watching Brian glare at the dweebs behind him, talking over the music (was it Nashville to Kentucky?), saying really loud to each other, "This is my favorite song" and continuing to talk about how great it is. We later pontificated on the notion of how to politely tell someone to shut the fuck up. Can you tell someone politely to shut the fuck up?

The boys are on top of their game folks. It's gonna be a memorable show wherever you see 'em!

sweatbOard,

That is upsetting you didn't get to tape.  Your taping of the Blue Cats show when they came to Knoxville is maybe the best show and maybe my favorite recording I have heard that just captures the essence of being there.  The audience is very much apart of the recording but the band audio is still very good.  The audience interaction during Mahgeetah is very loud and just is so present it just makes you go back to the moment.  Just wanted to say thanks for it kind of and am a bit upset you didn't get this crack at it.

Also, I forgot to point out that is so great after the show is over and they play the song that plays during the end of Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove when the world is blown up after the good Dr. says MEIN FUHRER, I can walk... "We'll meet again, dont know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day..."  Such a great choice.

"you didn't get this crack at it."   ;)me to, me to.  We'll we still have the Bluecats show and hopefully I can get a good recording of the Ryman show.  Thank's for the coment about the Bluecats show.  I'm glad you enjoy it.   :-*

By the way.  Those cookies are FUCKING AMAZING........with white chocalate chips......Hell's Yes!!!!!  I've been eating them nonstop, they are like ecstacy in cookie dough form.  Good Call.  Sometimes I like to caress my nipples while I'm eating one.

Oh, and it was "I will Sing You Songs"  >:(

man, what a life changing show. My highlight was Nashville to Kentucky. Jim's voice was...indescribable.
Hold my life until I'm ready to use it

Does anybody know if the show was taped?

i saw a guy taping about 6 rows in front of the edge of the balcony.  his mic was only at head height so it was not easily noticable.  i was going to ask him where he seeded his shows but i forgot to after the show.  besides that i didnt see any tapers.
