The Prom

I have been in rehab since the day after Christmas so I just learned of the Athens, GA show and all the tickets are sold out.  I'm doing great and am so happy to be sober again  8-) (I have nothing against those of you who aren't addicts/alcoholics and who can use successfully, I just weren't made that way).  However I am super bummed that I don't get to go to the prom...again.  My drinking also kept me from my first prom opportunity ten years ago (well, that and zero desire to go).  I just thought I'd put it out there that if anyone knows of a way:  contest, loophole, time warp or machine, string to pull, etc. that could allow me to see these boys large and in charge, 'twould mean the world to me.  Love to all.  Thanks,  -"Poor Little Promless Drunk"  :'(

If that weren't bad enough, you obviously missed the other 38 threads about the athens shows. Bummer.

I'm guessing if you go down to the 40 Watt someone will have an extra ticket - has always worked for me in the past at other venues - you don't have much to lose living in Athens - just a short drive!

I agree with steelyB...just go to the venue and give it a try.  In my experience, it's helpful to hang around the parking lot rather than in front of the venue.  That way, you are the first to ask for extras.  Good luck to ya!
