Why Such Limited Florida Love?

I should be working but I was just looking through past live shows and realized that MMJ has only made 3 Florida appearances ever.   2 in 2002 and one this year at a Festival.  I realize that you're only 2 wrong turns away from dueling banjos at any moment down here, but most of us don't bite.  Any theories?
I'm not saying it's easy...walking into sweet oblivion.

Well they toured with Pearl Jam in  2006, and that tour did not stop anywhere in the south.  I personally feel PJ was afraid of being "Dixie Chicked" down in the south and didn't want to end up cancelling shows like the chicks had to.  

I live in CT and they've only played here I think 3 times too, one of which was with PJ.  

I did manage to catch the Langerado show and that was so great it should last you through to the next tour;-)
