It's official the boys will return to the farm this summer! Along side Pearl Jam, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Kanye West And Many More. I'm quite upset with the lineup, but can't miss the roo for the world. Go on and scope the lineup yourself.

Nice to see its official. I think the line-up looks great. There are some bands I could do with out (see top line of list) but you cant please everyone.

thanks!

that's kind of a dissappointing lineup--we'll see who adds. (NO VERVE!@! WTF)
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

buaawwww

I think it's great. very diverse.  They had Tool last year, so why not Metallica this year!  Although I never thought I would see a bill featuring Metallica and Phil Lesh and Friends ever? LOL

I think it is awesome.  Pearl Jam, MMJ, Phil, DBT, Allmans... AND the mighty Metallica!!!!

buaawwww

I do wish the Black Crowes, NMAs, and Black Keys could've made the bill too.  Wow I just noticed Raconteurs are on the list too!!!!  This is great!!!

no, you are

Len-ah

usually seeing the lineup is like christmas... this year it was a little disappointing, but as my friends pointed out there are more good to out weigh the bad.
hopefully the same environment will be in swing.
i think that my morning jacket being there is enough to go anyway! plus... hopefully we'll have that new album before roo!  ;D

Penny Lane

i guess i'm getting too old--i feel like i've seen all those bands before (and at bonnaroo, too)

you're right, built to spill would have been great--levon helm will be an added treat...

not sure about making the trip this year unless the verve signs on--
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I'm hoping for some kind of les claypool add, some sort of electronic act for the sasha spot. And i don't undertand the metal they're throwing at us. Mastadon, the sword? Mettalica? Don't get me wrong there are plenty of greats on the list and i'll be attending, but i'm fearing the vibes this year. Less hippies and more metalheads means more fights and bad vibes imo. But then again maybe it will show me a different side of the metal concert goers i've previously experienced. Time will tell. Can't wait to jam with you all again come june. And if you haven't been i highly suggest buying the ticket. Need i mention that tent 2006?

I actually wasn't surprised to see Mastodon on this list.  I was more surprised when I saw Clutch on there last year.

Your right. The positive aspect of bands such as these being there is no one is really forcing you to go see their shows.

ratchetisfake

bonnaroo means "a really good time" in cajun slang, so why not include bands you normally wouldn't outwardly aspire to go see? its all about enlightening yourself to things that are "out of the norm". its all about new experiences and meeting new people. although the line-up was slightly disappointing, im still going to attend. diversity, even in music makes us much more tolerant.
i wouldnt miss it for the world. especially since the jacket is back, and ready to blow my mind all over again.
who fanned the fire that burned down the lake?

TheBigChicken

Why are some of you so disappointed?  :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? Oh and which of these bands disappoint you the most? Just curious....
