1st post here...
This is great news! I didn't realize they were playing here until I went to the Ticketmaster website attempting to purchase tix to the Lousiville show and noticed they were playing @ Riverfront Park the night before.

2 questions:
1) How do you purchase tix on the presale date? Is there a code/password?
2) Is this a pretty cool place to see a show? I've been by this area many times for other reasons but I havent had the chance to see a show there. Although, it really doesnt matter which venue you see MMJ...they're still going to be bad-ass.

Thanks

She was even open to the idea of driving up to Louisville the next night too.

It's on a tierd slope, I know that much. There will be room on
flat surface (grass) in front of the stage, but it slopes up to 1st
Avenue where you'll have a good, unobstructed view if you're
not into the front row krunk.  :)

How 'bout a visual reference?

Riverfront is pretty cool place to see a show. I would not worry about the pre-sale for the tickets. Almost every show I've been to there has had no reserved seating, all General Admission.

Very cool that they're playing there, but it's unfortunate that Louisville is no longer the tour opener; still, it does make for a real life Nashville To Kentucky...

Sickeningly fabulous, this is!!! Soon after Friday's epic show, the longing ache began again. Now I know it's less than two months til Nashville, and then, two months til Chicago.

I love my Jacket.

I've never been to this venue in Nashville before either - so here is my question:

I would like to tape it and never have before - I just bought Edirol R-09HR and have a couple month to get it down - but where's a good spot to set up? I'd love to be as close as possible so I enjoy it but if it helps the recording then, so be it.

The Bonnaroo show was amazing! This will make my 4th MMJ show and every time I see em I fall in love. Too good.

Geeze!  Caught up in the release, the Ear X-tacy show and Bonnaroo, I totally looked over this thread and the fabulous news that it brings.  Count me in!

Hopefully, Riverfront Park is gonna start bringing in some more good shows.  "Music City" has been letting us down lately with the closing of Starwood Ampitheater and no more city "festivals."  City Hall is also gonna close and reopen somehwere else...hopefully with better acoustics.  Obviously, i'll be rocking 8/15 with all my fellow Jacketheads.
BIGKID:  Riverfront area is a really wide area with a concrete area right in front of the stage with a tiered grass/concrete hill that's not very deep.  My guess is that you'd wanna try to set up around the first or second level in the middle...should be no problems there.
You had me worried!!!

megalicious

brad and i will be there. hope to see some of y'all rocking OUT!
