dreams about the band

I had this weird dream where the band was playing at this abandoned building in downtown Louisville, capacity 2000.  for some reason, I was invited to cheer them on from backstage.  the weird part was that backstage was outside, in the parking lot...everyone actually parked in the backstage area, and I sat on my car's hood and smoked and drank all night long while they jammed...

anyone else have crazy ass dreams about the band?  hmmmmmm?

Holy Crap.  I just had my first Jacket dream last night.  I think I stayed up to late reading the T-Shirt and autograph thread.

I was in 4th grade, and Jim James came to speak to our class.  They showed a reel-to-reel video that was black/white silent movie footage of a show in a stone dungeon type place.  The video showed my wife and I dancing crazy akin to "reefer madness".

I asked Jim to autograph my Z-bats shirt and he refused...  Later  he was signing some other girls shirt so I asked him again.  He signed his name completely around the entire shirt as "Jim James Jellybelly" (wtf ???).

I ran into him again at the waterfountain and he politely allowed me to cut in front.

Is it coincidence that I just got on the nicotine patch yesterday?  Very weird and vivid dream.

Not a coincidence.  I had my best/weirdest dreams ever on the patch.  I was thinking about getting some just for the dreams.

It's been far too long since I've been to a proper field party, I guess because I'm old :(  The last one I went to, there was this guy who passed out near the fire and the bottoms of his shoes got so hot they started smoking  ;D

oh, anyone would be invited, regardless of age (unless drinking was involved, then over 21 please, I guess...just speculating here)

i'm just sayin' the older heads might know someone with a field?!  that, and I was trying to make bug feel better...she thinks she's old, when I know in fact she is not.

I have a recurring dream about Jim:

I win the lottery, quit my job, by an RV and go on tour with the jacket. im at every show...finally jim notices...invites me back stage and says something like want to come out with us...so he walks me back to my RV, I invite him in, he makes fun of how ugly my dog is...i grab some things, and then we go out for some drinks with the rest of the guys. late night, he walks me back to the RV, and then my alarm goes off. every fucking time.

Oh yeah I dreamt that some of my co-workers came into work and started to jam a'la MMJ, then the guys said they were the guys from MMJ...and I just laughed and said they weren't, but good try...


Knowing the guys I could see it happening  :D (in their dreams)...although I dunno if Jason can actually play the guitar like JJ.

hilarious!  well, if nothing else, this thread proves I'm not alone in my deep obsession with the band!

The night of the gardens show this year I went to sleep with my ears still ringing and had a dream that I was hanging out with the guys around their tour bus and they were all dressed in red mariachi (spelling) with sombreros on and big guitars. I shook their hands and they asked me to come to their families house for thanksgiving. I told them I had to go to my parents house for thanksgiving and they said, "hey, you can either go there or come to our house instead" and I told them I wanted to go visit my folks instead.

I know that sounds lame but after I woke up, I felt like I had really met the band and while only a dream, I felt my subconscious made the right choice. Family is more important... I'm not sure my wide awake decision would have been the same though.

pfffft, I haven't missed a Holiday dinner with my family in 33 years.  If MMJ invites me to Thanksgiving dinner I'M GOING!
