The Gil Scott-Heron cover is SO great. I can't stop playing it. Jim needs to do a covers album pronto!

Jim's set from the festival was amazing. I have seen  JiM solo maybe 5 or 6 times and this was easily my favorite. Sitting in the tent as the rain poured down  and listening to Jim was just perfect.

I also have the set by She & Him, which was also pretty great, here's the link to their performance:

I don't plan on posting these shows to my blog until tomorrow, so if any of you have the time and want to check it out, you can find it here:

I've got a ton of shows available there, including Lollapalooza performances by The National, Blues Traveler, The Whigs, Wilco, Explosions In The Sky, Radiohead, The Raconteurs and Bloc Party.

Happy Listening!

Thanks man!  Great blog too. I look forward to hearing some of those Lolla shows.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

This was a fanastic show! Had a great time!

My friend and I hung out after the show and ended up getting to meet Jim.  Very briefly! But long enough to get my picture taken with him! I was pretty freakin excited! Still makes me smile today thinking about it!  Will post picture soon.

midwesterner

Thanks for the downloads. Did you record Gillian Welch's set by any chance?
