Hey guys, I'm a new poster. I've been a huge mmj fan since about 2006. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to go see them. I was banking on them coming through north carolina on this tour, but it looks like that's not happening. Anyone think there's a chance that they might add an nc date sometime in the near future? There's plenty of great places they could play, preferably in durham or raleigh, but honestly, I would be willing to go anywhere in NC. I know there's got to be some nc folks on here who are feelin me on this. So, Jim & co., if you're reading this, North Carolina needs some MMJ love, so come on down!

Welcome bullcityjacket!  I am hoping for a St. Louis date myself.  Just not in the cards for '08.  I am happy some new cities are getting a chance.  (Not that happy. ;))

There are definately some other NC peeps on the board.  At least NC has gotten 11 shows to date!  Not bad.

1. 2007-03-08 The Orange Peel - Asheville, NC
2. 2005-06-08 The Orange Peel - Asheville, NC
3. 2005-06-07 Cat's Cradle - Carrboro, NC

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

thanks man. yeah. I just happened to be out of town during the last nc show. It's a shame they tore down ziggy's. that was a great venue. It must have been amazing to see the jacket there.  but here's to crossing our fingers for some new dates in StL and NC sometime soon!

Thanks for posting that list...My first MMJ show was #8, then #6 (where we were introduced to Wayne Robbins & The Hellsayers!), #4 - Ziggy's, where there were maybe 50 people there?!  It was an awesome show though.  It was raining cats & dogs, there was a leak in the roof above the band, AND the lights went out and they kept right on playing.  The the last two Orange Peel shows.  Great venue for them.  I hope they return there someday.

I was at that Ziggy's show, saw Jim in the parking lot before the show.Crowd was very sparse for sure. The thunderstorm knocked the electricity out for about 3 seconds during the last song and they never lost a beat.

All 3 times I have seen then there has been storms of some sort.It was snowing when I saw them in richmond, lol. There must be something about that amp.Magical.

Gonna make sure I got my umbrella in Myrtle.

God, how much money I would give to go back in time and see MMJ in the Go! Room... that place didn't hold 50 people.

I also think I was at the cityfest in 2003 but didn't bother to go see MMJ.  Knowing me at the time I was probably at some shitty jam band set  >:(

But, yes...NC is a Jacket deprived state.  Please come back...
