Mi Chaqueta

relatively new to their music here.........last night what was the song after Golden that talked about meeting at someone's back door, and what album is it off of?

easy way

It sounds like you're refering to 'Phone Went West' off of the album 'At Dawn'...I wasn't there, but that's gotta be it. GO GET THAT ALBUM!!!
"the time is with the month of winter solstice, when the change is due to come..."

Chico

Can anyone comment on the show start time?  Did it match the ticket/update from the band?  No opener?

I don't want to get burned in Dallas/Austin.

What a show!

QuoteAny of you guys pick up the poster I did? I hope they sold well. if you didnt get one I have some on my site today at 10am. That venue looks incredible, sure it was an incredible place to see the guys play.

I got your poster last night - it is badass!

Salacious D

I'm loving these bust outs every night! First War Begun, then Cobra (I know there were some others at those shows, too), now Master Plan and  Just One Thing (I would have cried if I got to hear that). Really, really exciting time for these guys.

I wonder if they'll start incorporating more covers or just delve deeper into their discography to keep things interesting. Can't wait to see!
Because if there's one thing that goes well with shooting zombies it's a Dolly Parton cover-el chode

hi,
i hadn't really heard mmj until i went to the show last night.    were all the songs their own?    my friend and i couldn't help but think one of the songs was from a cover from an 80's tune.

Oh man it was so amazing! Since I won tickets I got to meet them before the show and watch the sound check. Jim asked us if we had any requests and I went, "Thank You Too!." That was the first song they played for me. We heard it again later in the night, but I absolutely love that song so I didn't mind. During the soundcheck we also heard The Bear, and Knot Comes Loose. AWESOME!

Wardog

WOW...just got back home... That show was amazing...well worth the 2.5 hours waiting outside!
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away

LowDownLuvDawg

WOW the crowd at the KC was probably the worst crowd I have ever been with at a concert... Jacket still ruled but god damn those people were funkin lamers!

Knot comes loose, lucky that wouldev been tasty

masterplanjohn

Wow, Masterplan + Run Thru totally made this one my best Jacket show yet I think.. but the crowd was about 1/2 awesome 1/2 absolutely unacceptably lame

Elspeth

As a native, I can tell you that no matter what the show, KC crowds are usually lame.

Sorry.

Wardog

Yeah not many people seemed to know the songs.  C rowd was very lame... I doubt it will compare to Dallas...but I will gladly give feedback. Can't wait to see them again in 4 days!

I never saw any of the crowd except the ones on the floor all around me and they were far from lame!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

LowDownLuvDawg

where were u standing because the first 5 rows of people were not moving

ChronicHunger

Yea i didnt think the crowd was too bad everyone next to me and behind me were into it and no one was really talking around me or if they did you couldnt here them anyways
