OK so me and a friend of mine as well as Springfield's very own bearass are headed to Kansas City and the Uptown Theatre.  Anyone else?   MJ, if I kidnap you and return you home a day later will you press charges?   Your wife can't get mad if you get kidnapped can she?

Check out the kick ass theatre->  (I don't think it's a coincidence that they are playing lots of amazing buildings on this tour.)

Are all the tickets for the KC show General Admission?

I'm pretty sure all of the presale tickets are GA, but I think there is a balcony that will have seats.

This is my guess, but again, I'm not 100% sure.

All tickets to the KC show are GA.  There are seats on the floor and balcony but they are GA as well (and usually fill up pretty fast depending on the show).  

The Uptown may look small in the pic above but it holds almost 2000.

It's not hard to see if you are far back unless you're short or it's so packed that you just can't get a good line of sight.  There aren't too many bad spots to see a show there though.

You can drink anywhere in the place, although beers are somewhat pricey.

The only place you can smoke in the Uptown is in this smallish bar that's right by where you walk in the main entrance.  

I will be there.

If there was one more question it would have been too many...but 5 is perfect.

I saw the Decemberists at the Uptown last year, it is an awesome place! If I had planned better and just taken the whole week off between Louisville and Red Rocks, I'd be there - dammit!
