Obviously I cant comment on tonights show but I like One Big Holiday as the closer. Run Thru is a great jam but OBH ends the show on an up note. Not that Run Thru is a downer but the end of OBH is blistering.

Ah ha!!!  I knew I recognized the name, it just didn't click.  Maybe if it was signed Angry Ewok...


Nice Poster for an amazing show (curious to see what you have in store for Stubb's show).  My ears are ringing and my feet are tingling (that was a lot of standing!).  Beautiful music accompanied by beautiful lights and the beautiful smell of hydro wafting by interrupted only by the occasional whiff of warm bologna that one of my show-neighbors beer apparently kept stirring from the depths of his belly (where's the vomiting emoticon when you need him?).  

If cities had anthems, I think Jim just penned part of ours tonight:  "Dallas never lets us down.  By the grace and power of the Reunion Tower, you stand tall"... throw in something about breast implants and $30,000 millionaires and we're all set.  

It was nice to see that Bermuda Highway had become a sing-along... good to know the kids are studying their history, but I still miss the silence of a respectful audience at times like the outro of Dondante... I think I was once called an elitist or something on here for bitchin' about people talking over the band, so I'll set an example and shut up about it.

What was the shin high mike on the stage facing the crowd?  Was this performance recorded by more than just some fans?!?!

Oh, and Patrick, if you happen by, this was the first time since y'all opened for Eyes Adrift that I wasn't waiting there bearing gifts when you rolled into town, and for that I apologize... but I also have a feeling you're prolly not suffering too much without my contribution (the little white van has certainly grown!).

That's awesome Brad!   Might be one of my new favorites.  Great colors, and I love the little owl.  How sweet!
