I know some of you guys hate me right now...bitchin' about set lists and all, but put all that aside and let's party in 2 weeks! When it comes down to it, I'm gonna be losing my shit - no matter what the fuck they play.

I'll be waving a My Morning Jacket Flag some friends and I made.  It's the California Flag, but rather than saying "The Republic of California" it says "My Morning Jacket".  It's got the appropriate bear gracing the front.  We'll be waving it! (not during the songs...i promise not to block anyone's view) and I plan on trying to give it to the boys at the end of the show....WooT!!!

PS: My brother owns the Shattuck Down Low and Blakes.  Pre Party anyone?

I will be visiting my brother in San Jose so I think that is where I will be coming from.  I want to hang before the show and he won't be able to meet me until later.  Not to mention he is already talking about leaving the show early.  I may have to "loose" him in the crowd.  :P
I am going to try to find my own way to the city mid afternoon.

yvon...your like the biggest fan of them all.  A california My Morning Jacket show wouldn't be the same with out you.  If you dont show...the band will be off or something horrible will happen!

i'm coming from l.a.  i have to work friday, so i'd be zipping up from work, which means leaving early.  we may have a delivery deadline that day, so i'm trying not to get emotionally comitted to the idea of being there.

Sheesh, I can't believe my dad left me off the list, but I put myself up there. Yeah, that's me...they still call me bean, even though I'm WAY bigger than a bean these days. I'm a 19 week old fetus for cryin' out loud! I love music (my favorites are Stars Of The Lid and James Brown), and can't wait to rock with My Morning Jacket! This won't be my first concert, but my ears will be WAY more developed this time, so I'm sure I'll have much more fun. The best thing is, I won't even have to pay for a ticket!
