Yeah, we have to get on the subway which is why I'm reconsidering a full-length dress.  I certainly wouldn't wear anything you don't want dirty or ruined, but I think it's possible to get festive and fun without too much hassle (and without donning stilettos)!

My dress is tea length, so I think I'll be fine unless I fall into a snowdrift or something.  Which is entirely possible.

one great thing (or bad depending on how you look at it) is the lack of snow in the city no matter what..it melts so fast--no snow drifts but maybe mudsliding or slush messes

I understand the comfort concerns, truly I do, but...Jim's wish is my command.   :)

i finally have time to go shopping tomorrow so we'll see---for those of you staying at a hotel in the city, the whole wardrobe thing won't be a prob. for the rest of us, commuting will be a b*tch. BUT I WILL STILL TRY TO PLAY ALONG AND FIND SOME "NINES" ATTIRE THIS WEEKEND. i don't want to be underdressed if i stand next to J rud in a picture or something.

Look at this thing... I won it on eBay for $1.25.  I feel like I own the guy at least $15 for this.







The description kicks my ass too:

I own a 3 piece bedazzled corduroy suit with a giant blown out afro wig :). Think this would be considered "to tha nines" or too disco? It's my personal favorite gear to rock out in, just not sure it fits the profile of the show. Comments?
