Fans Going to Graceland
A floral arragnement sent by Japanese Elvis fans is on display outside Graceland. The Japanese have a soft spot for Elvis; even the former prime minister got a tour of the property. June 30, 2006, when President Bush hosted Japan's former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi for a tour of the mansion, it became the only residence on American soil other than an Embassy, the White House or any of the other presidential retreats to host a joint visit by a sitting U.S. president and a head of a foreign government. Koizumi, who served as prime minister of Japan from 2001 to 2006, is an avid Presley fan and even shares Presley's birthday -- Jan. 8.

;D ;D ;D Definitely!

A lot of people from Tokyo have a strong dislike for Elvis after some comment he made high on pills that didn't translate very well.

Here's a picture of some people in Tokyo burning their Elvis records 'beatles-style'

You could even argue that the album the kid is holding looks a lot like '63s With The Beatles but you'd be wrong!

If Jim didn't feel like playing Suspicious Minds then the old Up On Cripple Creek/Blue Moon Of Kentucky combo wouldn't be such a bad thing  ;)

look at db looking all forlorn in the corner there.  cheer up, only 57 days to go!  and tell your pal to put some pants on before the show.  your other friend must be related to bh, just look at the stain on his shirt!

;D
allow me to be honest now...this is probably the best post i've made on this board.   ;D

dragonboy

I love that picture - the Killer Whales bring harmony to the Chaos created by that guy's outfit!

So BH is a dribbler? Messy eater? What's the deal?

Only thing missing is a mention of the rape huts. I actually tried finding a pic for you, but even the bar is afraid to talk about those huts of theirs/

It has to do with Maker's and Coke, in the summer time, and the resulting condensation on the glass that always seems to make a spot in the middle of my shirt where I hold my glass.  The size of the spot grows proportionatly with the size of my buzz.  It all started with the pics from radio city.  BIG SPOT!

It doesn't help any knowing that if I had my old waste line, there probably wouldn't really be a horizontal area to catch the condensation.  :-[
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

dragonboy

Haha thanks for clearing that up Deputy!

At least you're not spilling your whiskey/coke. If I'm laid out on the couch drinking jack/coke I nearly always manage to get some on whatever I'm wearing!
