screw water parks! come to the desert!!!!!!!!!!!!
no bands ever come here. they will all soon be losing my support, as well as the support of other desert-rats, as we dry up on our lonely desert islands without any GOOD live entertainment, and are forgotten about in the hot nothingness.

YES!!! Seriously! Did Jim honestly hate his New Mexico earthship home so much that he vowed to never tour here ever in his life? It's not funny, they need to get here and water our poor desert hearts  :(

for those of you who don't know what an earship is:

It would be cool if they did that each summer...While I think the travel to shows is a good portion of the fun L-ville isn't terribly far from me which is convenient. It was a nice trip last August. Cool town. I'd like to see more of what it has to offer.
Because we're all in this together...

They played last year at Festival Pier in Philadelphia that, while not a park, is indeed on the waterfront :)

Stage would be way too small unless Jim signs a waiver or something
Not the one thing. I used to think I
could at least some way put things right.

great venue (have seen a bunch of shows there) but it was the most disappointing of all the mmj shows i saw last year. they seemed very tired.

then again after seeing bonnaroo and rcmh, most the shows were a little bit of a letdown.

i'm hoping for a carnegie hall show this year. i mean if band of horses is playing there.

boh = imitators
mmj = innovators
Is there a doctor in the house tonight?

Fixed that for you.

Also, agreed regarding Festival Pier

One time I was a few blocks away and I saw a dude about 5 minutes after he got stabbed. This was right before the Bisco/Flaming Lips show last Memorial Day.

I dont know that Id call it great. It just seemed like your standard 10000 capacity, general admission, outdoor city venue to me,

Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special about it either that I gathered the couple times I was there. Plus, there isnt any lot is there?  [smiley=thumbdown.gif]

it's a great outd00r venue, with many food options, and anchor steam in bottles...what else do you want.

it's a winner in my b00k.
