MMJ still silent..tell us your Conspiracy Theories

Ok fellow MMJ lovers and friends....this is meant to be playful and fun. No attacking people here.

Please list your conspiracy theory as to why we haven't had heard any tour announcements yet.

1. Yim had surgery to fix whatever went a rye in Idaho. (God forbid :'()

2. Patrick is on a boat somewhere with Jay Z and Beyonce off the coast of South France ;)

3. Two-tone Tommy is wrapped up in litigation while trying to legalize his name. 8-)

good vibes ya'll...hopefully we hear some dates soon. Jonzin hard...Maybe they'll do an annual Radio City show!!! :D :D :D

How about: they need a break.

They've been one of the hardest working bands out there for the past ten years. This is the first time in a decade I can remember the band just taking a break, for more than a couple weeks. Hopefully Jim will come out of it with an arsenal of new songs and we'll all be better off for it. If not I guarantee there is great MMJ material out there that you are not aware of. Do you have all the studio releases, b-sides and all? the covers comp? Even 10% of the awesomeness contained at the audio archive?

You should checkout Andy Sandberg's (form SNL) video "I'm on a boat" on youtube. That's where I got my inspiration for Theory #2. It pokes fun of all the rappers on yachts.

1) The whole band is in India in an Ashram trying to get in touch with their inner Divine Spirits to flesh out all of their Evil Urges and revitalize themselves with Good Intentions.

2) The band is of the heavens and only graces our earthly presence when the stars are aligned just right.

3) The Swine Flu... :'(

first off i will agree that they are taking a well deserved break from the road. however you make it seem like they never take long breaks. they just took a 4 month break at about the same time last year. they didn't play a show from 11/7/07 until 3/10/08.

And everybody is jut excited to see some tour dates from their favorite band.

They were writing and recording an album in the time period you are pointing out. I don't consider that taking a break. I don't remember a time this band took more than a two week break other than to record an album, recover from an illness/injury, or to film a movie. Am I wrong?

yea they work hard but i disagree with the two weeks thing...stats show for themselves that they have their time off. im not saying i disagree with the time off....but they arent playing 200 shows a year. take the time and relax guys! but im just like everyone else here, hurry back!

im thinkin my theory will be that they are all sitting on the couch in their underwear eating cheetos....playin video games.

they are all hooked on PB pudding surprises and just floating in inner-tubes on lazy rivers enjoying themselves.

im guessing they'll be ready to get back on the road after the summertime.
