Excited bout MOF Tour but when will MMJ Tour again

I'm excited to see the Moster of Folk tour but I've been checking this website once a week for what seems like for an eternity to see when My Morning Jacket will start touring again. I have every my morning jacket album (and EP's) and would pay ridiculous amount of money for tickets at this point to see them live. Anyone else disappointed with the lack of recent tour dates? There are so few bands out there that make "good"music anymore and I'm dying to see this great band live!

While I can't possibly know the future, I think a good, safe answer would be definitely some time in the next two years. MMJ will tour again by the time 2011 is over. I can almost guarantee that. MoF has to finish their thing, Jim has to record his solo album and possibly tour and, probably, MMJ will have a new album to record, so all that will take some time, but they'll be back soon. I'd definitely expect a couple festival dates at least next year.

 I thought that there was some sort of initiation or hazing period.  I still consider myself a noob, by the way.

Yeah, I can't imagine if he does tour for it that it would be real long.

Yes he is.  It's mentioned on his website and has been discussed in the Harrison EP thread. :)

He also will be back with MMJ in 2010. It's already been confirmed by Management.
