Anyone else hearing rumors?

My Jacketitis is so crazy bad that I CANNOT listen to their music. I have been avoiding all my old romances with Just One Thing, Strangulation, Anytime, Gideon and so on and so forth because I am dyyyyyying for them to go on tour. Tonight I got in my car and XMU plays Mahgeetah and oooohhhhh, it felt good. I am not joking when I say I got a little teary-eyed.

I fell off the wagon.

And I will be at every show possible in 2010. I don't care if I have to fly, drive, walk, skip, thumb, swim or spend all my student loan money doing it.

You all better be there.

Girl, I had a Mahgeetah moment last week too.  It came up on shuffle as I was walking home from my dance class and I just had to bust out singing "SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, ARE YOU READY TO GO, MY LADYYYYYYYYY!" at the top of my lungs and generally looking like a crazy person.

I like to think of myself as a hippie of sorts, though my long hair fell out a few years back and I couldn't tell you what happened to my last denim jacket. Being that I started "hippiedom" in the mid '80s might ruffle a few feathers (ie. "not authentic!").  Not a very hippie-like sentiment, however.  

As to what I mean when I call myself a hippie.  Its not my clothes (pretty conventional).  Its being politically aware, striving for peace, abhorring violence, digging good music and nature, being environmentally conscious, and following the golden rule.  No one would look at me and think "hippie."
