QuoteWOW!  What a night!  I'm still reeling and just full of gratitude to be a part of it.  I sat next to Yvon in the second row and just soaked it all in.  The venue was amazing!  The setlist was great!  I mean look at those covers! I was hoping for a new song going in, but nothing could have taken away from my enjoyment once Jim started singing. Take My Breath Away was definitely a highlight for me.  The songs with Bootsy Ann were breath-taking, so to speak. I got the handwritten setlist.  It's difficult to explain how magical a solo performance can be, but those who have been swept away by it before know what I'm talking about.  Thank you, Jim!

btw, Kory had permission to shoot photos (apparently just him, Spin and Rolling Stone were allowed to shoot) so look forward to those and there was a taper in the building, let's all hope things worked out for him!
Thanks for the setlist bananas & thanks for the report aMD. Kory mentioned in the same sentence as Spin & Rolling Stone? How cool is that?!
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

wow! what a setlist.  I live in Nola and after the madness at work I walked down to the parade route and the first float I saw was decked out in a Valentine's day theme and I immediately thought about Yim and ya'll. Must have been pure magic.  For those that made it.  Soak it up.

Soulshine

Wow everyone! Sounds like an amazing night. I remember the 1st time I heard Jim sing Take My Breath Away I almost fell out of my chair...and that was on a disc. Great setlist. Glad you all had such a good time and way to go Kory!  :)
