not to be a freak, but i went and saw THE Andrew Bird this evening and he blew me away. Pat came up and joined on "Fake Palindromes" which was abSOlutely stellar. good lord.

but anyways, I looked over to the side and saw the Jim. sans hair. Apparently he has been buzzenned for the summer season. It's a good look on him. I'd assume he finally got sick of the long hair, and voila.

I'm done being a stalker. Goodbye.

Tom, I was in the house too, with a dropped jaw.  I noticed Pat backstage talking to Martin Dosh after Cortney Tidwell left the stage, and then I noticed Carl, and then I had to do about a triple take because I thought I saw Jim, but I didn't see any hair, so then I thought it might have been Bo.  It was pretty dark so I couldn't tell for a minute, but I'll be damned if that wasn't him.  It's funny because I think I was just more excited to see all those guys at the show than to see the hair change.  Hoping for a JJ colab and leaving with a Patrick colab...I'll take it anytime

Patrick on Fake Palindromes was badass.  He dwarfed Dosh's drumset.  I haven't really seen him perform behind a drumset that wasn't his normal beast with MMJ.

And Andrew Bird.....wow.  I've seen him before, but my god, that was one of the best shows I've ever seen.  Hands down.  That man really knows how to give you a unique performance.

I can't believe I'm joining this conversation.... BUT

Tommy's hair was probably longer than anyone in the band's before he cut it off last year.

i am seeing Andrew Bird in milwaukee on Sat.  so excited!

can't wait to see Jim with short hair.
