It seems a lot of people have been posting that they were going to mostly
it still moves, z, at dawn. Anyone going to The Tennessee Fire? I think that is going to be one of the best nights. I dunno just a thought.
The fact that my hearts beating, is all the proof you need.

I'll be at all 5...but this one and At Dawn are the two ones Im looking forward to seeing.

I'm going to all 5 but really looking forward to the first 2 just because its been so long since some of these songs have been played.

I'm hoping they bust out a few rare songs during the mini-tour this summer. Some of the songs off TTF & AD haven't ever been played live by this group of guys.
The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

Penny Lane

i've never seen most of these songs live.

TTF and At Dawn are the ones I'm most looking forward to.
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

I'm probably not going to make it to this one, but it's going to be sick.

I mean seriously, just look at the track list on this album and imagine how friggin' amazing this night is going to be.  Lots of great Jim solo songs, the Bear, TWILIGHT (watch the f out!), War Begun right smack in the middle, By My Friggin CAR are you kidding me (I think that's only been played 3 times and I saw one of them!) and closing it out with an Acoustic Chorale type version going to hell.   Seriously, there are gonna be lots of extra tickets to the next four shows because half the people are going to be a puddle of mush after this night.

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Tracy 3000

If I were able to go, I'd be most interested in the first night.

I saw them play Heartbreakin' Man at my first show in 03 and it blew me away. As well as It's About Twilight in 04 and of course War Begun. Throw in some Bear, Evelyn, I Will Be With You When You Die, September Blues, etc... and the first night is the night not to miss, IMO.

But sadly, I shall miss all 5. Hoping for a repeat in Louisville
Jim brings all his love, passion, energy and mystery to the stage and says, "I'm right here."

The first 2 nights are the nights I am the most excited about. Tennessee Fire just never gets the credit it deserves. So many great songs.

my guess is they'll throw war begun in at the end of the set.  when i saw it they rocked so so so hard it was unbelievable.  my understanding is that is how most people like it too.  to throw it in the middle of the set might throw off a chill night...unless they play it chill as well.  which would be cool..........but i want them to rock it

either way.  the first two nights might be the sickest, but in a different way.  it'll be like comparing apples to oranges it think, the first two and the next two

It's been real fun to dig out the old albums the last few days and look at the tracklists- man that gets me pumped.

Most of what I listen to are live recordings so I'd kind of forgotten the exact listings and order.

Im with Penny Lane and GTF, looking forward to the first 2 nights the most. First show was in 05 and I've seen them a dozen times since 08 and every one was an amazing show. But as a long time fan (first purchase, at the suggestion of the worlds coolest mom-n-pop record store owner, was At Dawn) I cant say how much Im looking forward to hearing the old stuff in its entirety. The Dark, Its About Twilight Now, Old September Blues, Butch Cassidy, Strangulation, Hopefully,  Death is the Easy Way...never thought I'd have the chance to hear  any of them.
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

Add me to this list -- I also never thought I'd hear some these songs played live, and now I'm going hear ALL of them.

:D :D :D

Also, I think War Begun will go in the middle -- I imagine the albums will be played in their orders, and the covers and extras will be played as closers.

I'm upset about missing the first two nights.........I'm sure that many people are going to the final 3 for the same reason I am. It's easier on the weekend. I work during the week and the Thursday, Friday, Saturday run is much better for me schedule-wise.

Though I wish I could see every night....can't really afford the tickets, travel, and time off work.

Really looking forward to Picture of You.  (I have a big left arm.)

i've seen almost every song from ISM, Z, and EU live.  don't have much spare money at the moment so i'm only buying tix to At Dawn and Tenn. Fire, which are the two i'd be looking forward to most anyway.  can't wait to see some of those oldies live.

DaFunkyPrecedent

As a "late" bloomer to the MMJ scene (NYE 2006-07 SF) I haven't seen much of anything from Tenn. Fire or At Dawn.  It's going to be so nice feel like I'm making up for so many years of lost time with this band. They Ran is by far the song I'm most excited about because it was that song 4 years ago on NYE that hooked me to this band, but I  have yet (15 shows later) head it again.
God damn those shaky knees.

I had to make a serious decision here.  Now that Im down South, I had to consider the hotel cost for a week in NYC.  Even if I stay in Stamford, its gonna be a pretty penny.  Also, Im still getting over a broken back, so I whittled it down to two shows.  And I decided the first two nights!!!  See ya There.
