I am so pissed I can't make these shows, but I think the wife might officially flip her lid since we are going out to Portland later that month and we spent the spring following Yim around.  Personally I really wanted the first couple of nights the most as they never seem to play many songs from them anymore.  I have yet to hear The Bear live and its one of my all time favs.  Maybe they'll pull it out in Philly.

QuoteIm with Penny Lane and GTF, looking forward to the first 2 nights the most. First show was in 05 and I've seen them a dozen times since 08 and every one was an amazing show. But as a long time fan (first purchase, at the suggestion of the worlds coolest mom-n-pop record store owner, was At Dawn) I cant say how much Im looking forward to hearing the old stuff in its entirety. The Dark, Its About Twilight Now, Old September Blues, Butch Cassidy, Strangulation, Hopefully,  Death is the Easy Way...never thought I'd have the chance to hear  any of them.

The first two shows are going to be amazing. "I will be there when you die" will be amazing live. I first saw them in 2003 and heard mostly At Dawn tracks.

I totally understand how people can't get to the monday and tuesday shows....I've still got their Pittsburgh show in August to go to!!

it looks like monday has sold out, and appropriately so. hopefully they'll release s'more tickets. you'd think that the boys would really pull out all the stops for the first couple shows as a reward for their oldest fans, but then again, i've never seen them hold back for any reason.

tickets are still available for monday,
keep trying if they don't come up at first.

I would love to see Old September Blues and They Ran.

I wonder if Jim will do the Sunrides and the Girls Scream intro to I Will Be There When You Die.
And I hope Lil Billy gets played cause that would go off.

I hope there's tapers.
How loud can silence get?
