I actually met Jim right in front of the apartment I had on 2nd ave. This was when MMJ were opening for Pearl Jam. It was a pretty funny encounter. But the point of my story is that you very well may run into the band.

I waited for them after the detroit show in 2008. I will probably try to do the same one of the days there.

I ran into Carl and his wife (super hot!!!) at a Whicker Park cafe before Lolla a couple of years ago.  I sat next to him while we both ate lunch and creeply stared at him the entire time.  He was drinking a heff beer.

if you guys can't find out where the band is staying within 5 days you should be ashamed of yourselves.  stalk these dudes, knock on their hotel room doors.  ask them if they want to party.  they need more groupies if you ask me.
