It was a great show.  Jim James provided the highlights.  His voice sounded great.  And hearing his songs with the Ben's cello made for some great versions of already great songs.  The venue was nice and small.  The crowd was very polite and quiet during the songs but gave nice ovations after each performance.

Jim also added some entertaining and funny banter between songs.  Someone from the crowd yelled out wanting to know the name of  the instrument he was playing when he was holding the omnicord.  He said that he couldn't tell due to "trade secrets."  He also described the drummer's dancing and clapping as "military grade technology" that they have "perfected in just four or five shows."

Other highlights include Ben's heartfelt voice, lyrics, and great sounds coming out of his cello.  And definitely a highlight was meeting and seeing the show with a big fan/forum member/great guy, Ruckus, as well as his mom.  See you in NY in October.

Have to agree with all the postings here. A wonderful venue, nice staff, great location, great sound & lights.

I was very impressed with the mixed crowd attending. I saw, 20 yr olds to 70 yr olds, couples, etc. very nice to see instead of teen crazy kids.

It was a wonderful show, the drummer was also amazing, Dan Droff, I had never really listen to Ben or Daniel's music but will be sure to check them out in the future.

I was lucky enough to get a set list from the stage guy, (nice dude) but he was not impressed with "Ruckus" (if I'm right, forgive me if not) getting up onto the stage and "helping himself" he was pissed with him. Anyhow it was harmless fun. The best part of the night for me was I got to meet the whole band after the show out back, they all signed my set list and made it that more special.

I got to talk with Jim James and asked him if there was any work been done on a new album, and his reply was: yeah we are working on it now, should be ready for next Summer" I asked him for more information but was not giving that up.

Daniel is a very tall person and nice to talk with. The drummer was very nice and open to talk about anything, we had a good chat about working on this tour. Ben was quiet, but not rude at all.

All in all a great night.

Great stuff man!  Glad you got to meet the band.  I kinda wanted to hang out but the Mom had to get home.  BTW, that definitely wasn't me up on stage snagging a setlist.  Completely disregard any earlier post I may have made bragging about grabbing it.  Pfft  ::)

Try is so good.  The sound of this recording is fantastic!

I'm a little confused at two songs.  The setlist says Mute With A Bullhorn and Pretty Fair Miss, but the actual tracks don't appear to be either of these songs.  I wish I could get some clarification for my obsessive disorder.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.
