11-15-05 Marquee Theatre, Tempe AZ:  opened with wordless chorus...  Yim started to howl and my jaw dropped and stayed wide open for the next two hours...the beginning of a long and beautiful relationship!

1-3-07 Marquee Theatre, Tempe AZ:  incredible as usual

4-27-08 Coachella Festival Indio, CA:  most powerful, face numbing performance that I've seen... clean and loud!  1st listen of EU songs...only complaint is we wanted MORE!!!

9-23-08 Marquee Theatre, Tempe AZ:  sound started uncharacteristically rough but they got dialed in and were shredding away as usual by mid-show...GREAT version of Cobra, reggae'd out version of Phone Went West blew my mind and 1st time I saw Yim with the towel on his head!

9-24-08 Rialto Theatre, Tucson AZ:  back to back shows with nice changeup of setlist from previous night...Tucson has waaaay better music fans than Pho area...boo Phoenix music fans

10-09 MOF at Orpheum Theatre, Phoenix:  best show of 2009 for me and, ironically enough, first and only time I have heard At Dawn live

9-11-10 SDSU OAT, San Diego, CA:  "ah...san diego..home to natural and man made beauty...everything you need on this earth gathered in one beautiful location" crazy good vibe, best setlist ever... 2 hrs 20 minutes of pure bliss!

Near misses:

Missed show at a small bar in Tempe in '03 or '04 due to someunfortunate last minute circumstances.  Unbeknownst to me at the time, i then had to wait almost 2 yrs to experience the best live band on earth.  

Still giddy from the previous night's magic as SDSU, I desperately and manically tried to catch ride from SD to LA to see them at the Greek, only to fall short (was visiting SD without a car)!  Damn Am-trak train stops running before show let out!!!
