That's right!

I also had this slight rush when I thought that Into the Woods might turn into a jam for some reason

how was into the woods? that was definitely the underdog song of the night.  it seemed, a huge rarity, great underrated tune.  is it true m ward helped write that song or something? wrote the chorus?  can't remember.

First, the backdrop was a woodsy scene for the whole show. The lights fit it perfect. Jim started up toying with the guitar when I knew the song was next, so I was wondering if he'd turn it into some sort of jam.

Otherwise, it was strangely really, really awesome. Sort of a palate cleanser between halves

All those songs would have been good. What an awesome encore.

And in case you're wondering what the bananas are all about, the band threw bananas into the crowd during the end of careless whisper to help everyone stay healthy and refill their vitality, because George Michael was really singing about bananas.

Did they do that at NYE 2006?

This week I've left shows with Patricks drumsticks, the sound engineers stage blue print, and a banana. What. The fuck. Guilty feet have no rhythm...
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

hacksaw

this was the worst show of 4 I've been to thus far.

First of all Beats For U...wow that was the worst I've ever heard that song live...wtf happened there?

and I was bored out of my mind 10 minutes into Dondante. OMG KEWLZ JAM BRO! Lots of ZOMG I can play my instermentz 4 a rly long time lolz. Just stupid. Really forced...and just lots and lots of nothing spots where Jim tries to improvise on guitar and we all know that isn't his strong suit so it just didn't work out. Way too self indulgent and I contemplated walking out after they were FINALLY finished with the song. A few people around me even sighed "wow finally" when it was over.

Off The Record was the highlight of the show for me.

The guys just didn't seem to be having as much fun as they had previous nights...Jim's vocals were a little off too. meh.

Penny Lane

i touched Jim's ba ba banana nana...then i ate it. i feel fortified.

still haven't touched Yim's pickle though.
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

br00ke

Tremendous Upside

Jeez, sitting here at 4 AM, reliving this whole week via youtube

Can't sleep

So many highlights, but I keep going back to Phone Went West

One more night!  Don't want it to end...Somehow it feels like the appropriate thing to do in the evening is to see MMJ

Hey hacksaw,

I really wish you could make it to the Louisville show next week.  I think we could be BFFs and really take bromance to another level.  I mean, your attitude is so warming, and your opinions are so thoughtful and genuine and solicited.  I mean, how cool is it that you come on here and bash a T5 show when there are so many of us who couldn't make it, for reasons (obviously) beyond our control.  When we come here to get full reports from the lucky and deserving fans who represent us, and are able to go.  You're a real classy guy.

Most of the people who come here embrace a certain "Golden Rule" quality, and have been lucky enough to find a band, and other fans who embrace those same feelings.  Will you respect that?  And if you're doing it as a spiteful kind of joke, fuck you still.  You aren't welcome here unless you can be mature.

I'm sorry your uncle touched your upper leg a lot.  And I'm sorry you were made fun of in high school.  I'm sorry your circumcision was botched and I'm sorry your mom banged all of your friends...but don't take it out on here okay.  This is where most of us come to get away from people like you.

Love,

Toby
