Well you know your country better than I do, more ideas? I'm considering harassing different radio stations so they'll play more MMJ... Okay, not so much considering as have already started to...  ;)
Today I forged the plan to get all students to participate in an nationwide uprising! We had that once (ok it has to be improved) and it worked ;)
Think it's a good plan, especially when I get to know how to mobilize the students  ::)

Hmm, it sounded good up to the "hen I get to know how to mobilize the students" part... we need to work on this I think. Today my co-worker asked me "what band is this" during the Monsters of Folk part of my secret-plan-to-infiltrate-the-world-with-MMJ-and-Monsters-of-Folk-CD, it's not MMJ (yet) but it's a start!

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

You bet ya I am! ;) I actually had a begging thread on their forum for them to ask MMJ to come, before MMJ announced they were going to Mile High Festival... But yeah, the ones coming are pretty cool too, so if I'm not working I might swing by  :)

QuoteReally? No more begging people?  ;)

Yes, I want them in Europe, too!
And please let it happen this time...

I am from Germany.
Saw them at Radio City Music Hall in NY back in 2008 and supporting Pearl Jam in Italy 2006.

I want them to come to Europe too..the UK would be great but if not I can get to most places in Europe (the US is too expensive!).

Hey Sara, couldn't you just hitch a ride to NYC with Dungen?  You could offer gas money.

columba78

When they bring out a new album this year or early next year then there will hopefully be a European Tour !!

We have one German member from NRW Area, so Cologne should be a location, Berlin of course  :), then Sweden, France and UK and then back to Berlin for another show  ;)

The US is a tad expensive yeah, if I wasn't a poor student I would go though... but Europe would be easier, especially somewhere in Sweden or London... Where are you from EvilGirl?  :)

Hahaha, well, I could always ask.. if I knew who or how to ask... But then there's this ittybitty problem with getting show tickets... Maybe I can be part of the show and come on stage in a polar bear suit or something like it though? Wouldn't that be greatly appreciated?  ;)

I'm okay with that, except Berlin twice... hmm, Sweden twice instead! Or London maybe  :P

I live in Bristol in England but don't mind travelling to see the band.  I have seen them in several places in the UK and would be happy to see them in Europe (I can get to Berlin for £40 return) but just can't afford to travel to the States)..fingers crossed for a European tour this year!

Think there's a universal word for that: Dito.   ;)

Oh cool, then we got Germany, Sweden and England represented. I expect the rest of the European countries to be added to the list shortly...  :) Round-trip ticket (is that really what it's called, Google translate says it's so, but sometimes it lies, so you never know, tut tut) from here to London is about £40 as well, so that's really cheap. Come to think about it, maybe it's the same with Berlin, better check that before the band come over, I better hurry!  ;)

Ryanair has very cheap flights from Stockholm (well the airport is actually 80 km from Stockholm) to  Berlin. Friends of mine paid only 20 Euros for the flight last summer. Stockholm is the least expensive destination from Berlin with Ryanair.

Ya that's right. Ryanair is quite good for short period flights.
Sometimes it's cheaper to book a travelline at the target-destination for the flight back home. I made that several times when I travelled to Spain. German airline for outbound flight and Spanish airline for the flight back ;)
For flights Berlin-Stockholm I would suggest germanwings, hlx or air berlin.

Sounds goodie, it would be easier to go from Göteborg, but seems they don't have flights to Berlin, only Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, but maybe MMJ want to play there too, if not, then I'll just go to Stockholm.  :)

Always good to have several options, you never know, I might even kidnap someone with a car and a driver's license and force them to drive me from concert to concert, mwahaha!  ;)
